Terms of Service

Kego is an online platform that allows private vehicle owners ("Sellers") to list vehicles and allows verified motor traders ("Dealers") to place offers on those vehicles through time-limited sales events.

We are not a car dealer, broker, auction house, or financial institution. We do not buy, sell, finance, or warrant vehicles. We provide the venue, verification tools, and messaging infrastructure that help Sellers and Dealers find each other and agree a sale.

• Sellers must be at least 18 years old, resident in the UAE, and the legal owner or authorised seller of the vehicle they list.
• Dealers must hold a valid UAE trade licence for motor vehicle trading and be approved by Kego before they can make offers or buy.
• You must provide accurate information when you register. We may suspend or remove accounts that contain false or misleading details.

Listings are free. You may list a vehicle by completing our guided photo and information flow. You must:

• Own the vehicle or have authority to sell it;
• Provide a valid VIN/chassis number, accurate mileage, and truthful condition and history information;
• Upload photos that match the vehicle and follow our shot guide;
• Disclose any known accident damage, mechanical issues, outstanding finance, or other material facts that could affect value.

We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove listings that do not meet our standards.

Once a listing is approved, it enters a time-limited sale window (typically 24 hours). During this window, approved Dealers may place offers.

• All offers are binding once accepted by the Seller, subject to the vehicle being as described.
• Sellers are free to accept the best offer at any time during the sale window, or to reject all offers.
• If the reserve price is not met and the window closes, the sale may end without a winner.
• We show Dealer identities to Sellers in anonymised form until a sale is accepted. After acceptance, contact details are shared so the parties can complete collection and payment.

Listing is currently free for Sellers. We may introduce a success fee or listing fee in the future; any change will be communicated in advance and will apply only to new listings.

Dealer participation may be subject to a subscription or transaction fee once the Platform moves beyond the launch period. Founding dealers will be notified before any fee takes effect.

Payment is made directly between Seller and Dealer. Kego does not hold vehicle funds. We strongly recommend:

• Payment by bank transfer or other traceable method;
• A signed handover note at collection;
• Completion of the relevant RTA or Emirates Vehicle Gate transfer process before the vehicle leaves the Seller's possession.

Kego is not responsible for payment disputes, transfer delays, or losses arising from handover arrangements.

You may not:

• List a vehicle you do not own or cannot sell;
• Provide false or misleading vehicle information;
• Collude with other users to manipulate offers or prices;
• Use the Platform to harass, defraud, or spam others;
• Circumvent the Platform to avoid our verification, messaging, or fee structures;
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Platform's systems.

You grant Kego a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use listing content (photos, descriptions, vehicle data) for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform.

Kego's branding, software, and platform design are our property. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

Kego provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for:

• The accuracy of listings or user-provided information;
• Disputes between Sellers and Dealers, including payment, vehicle condition, or transfer issues;
• Indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages;
• Platform unavailability caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these Terms, misuses the Platform, or repeatedly receives complaints from other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

We may update these Terms or change Platform features. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by message. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
